Girls 6U Softball – Spring Season
Our Girls 6U Softball Program is a fun, engaging introduction to softball designed especially for young players in Kindergarten and 1st grade who are new to the game or just beginning their athletic journey. The focus is on learning, movement, and fun — all in a supportive, encouraging environment.
What to Expect
8-week spring program running from late April through mid–late June
Sunday morning sessions from 9:00–10:15 AM at Ginn Field
Clinic-style practices with small-group rotations
Instruction in:
Throwing
Catching
Hitting
Baserunning
Basic rules of the game
As the season progresses, players will begin to combine skills into simple, modified gameplay and short scrimmage-style activities.
Our Approach
At the 6U level, the goal is to build confidence and excitement around the game. Practices are designed to keep players moving, smiling, and engaged while learning foundational skills through games and hands-on instruction.
Coaching & Support
Sessions are led by a Program Coordinator with help from trained volunteer parent coaches. All drills are age-appropriate, and station plans are provided to ensure consistency and safety.
Cost
The cost for the Girls 6U Softball Spring Program is $125 per player. This fee helps cover field use, equipment, program administration, and a program jersey for each participant.
Equipment & Jerseys
Players will receive a program jersey included with registration
The program provides bats, balls, and training equipment
Players should bring:
A glove
A facemask
A helmet
Water bottle
