Cal Ripken Tournament (Ages 8-12)
Cal Ripken Baseball is a highly-competitive, double elimination tournament in which all-star teams from cities and towns within Massachusetts compete for the chance to advance from Districts to States, and potentially Regionals.
Districts are usually held in mid to late June. Teams that advance from their District Tournament compete in States, typically in early July. Teams that advance from the Sate tournament would play in a Regional Tournament in mid-July.
Bay State Baseball (Ages 9-12)
Bay State Baseball brings together youth all-star teams from cities and towns within Massachusetts, regardless of affiliation, for highly-competitive summer baseball and ultimately, a single champion (per age group). The teams complete for the coveted Tournament of Champions trophy.
Play typically begins late June and finishes in early-mid August. The A, B, C and D divisions are multi-round mini-tournaments in which the commissioners re-balance the competition after each round. Teams accumulate points throughout the season for the opportunity to play in the final Tournament of Champions. The final weekend of baseball is a festive occasion that usually includes skills competitions, cookouts and great baseball. Bay State Baseball is travel baseball. Teams typically play 3-4 games per week – one home weekday, one away weekday and 1-2 weekend games (A, B, C and D divisions only). To introduce the boys and girls to tournament baseball, many weekend games are at neutral sites with upwards of 25-30 games throughout the day.
Middlesex Summer Baseball League (Ages 8-12)
The Middlesex Summer League includes games on weekday evenings against neighboring towns from after July 4th through to the end of August. It's a great way to continue playing competitive baseball after the Spring season.
Summer Sandlot Baseball League (Ages 6 & 7)
Our Summer Sandlot program will give 6-7U players the chance to further their skill development in a fun, game-focused program. We will have a small team format of 7 players max per team, which should allow for better one-on-one instruction and plenty of at-bats for everyone.
The program will run from late July through mid September for players aged 6 and 7 as of 4/30/2021. Games will be played in town, usually once a week on weekdays at around 6PM.
