Baseball | Single A Division
This Instructional League will have a skills session on Saturday morning at Nutile Field and a scheduled game on Sunday afternoon at Mullen Field.
The skills session with reinforce the basic skills that have been introduced in previous years (throw, hit, catch flies, field grounders, run bases). Players will move with their team through a series of skills stations where each player will get to practice the skill multiple times. New skills will be introduced throughout the season and teams will compete in various competitions.
On Sunday each team will play a game. Players will begin pitching & catching to one another under modified rules intended to encourage pitching development while simultaneously providing opportunities for other players to hit and field.
This level is for 8-year-old players as of April 30th.
