Congratulations to the Angels on capturing the Fall Season Majors Championship with a 7-3 win over the Rangers.

The season finale lived up to its billing with the top-seeded Angels managed by veteran coach, Steve Boksanki, taking on the second-seeded Rangers, managed by coach, Marc Grimaldi.

The Rangers bats were hot as they led off the top of the first. A clutch one out two-RBI single from rising 11U, Owen Richardson, jump started the fired up Rangers squad. Angels starting pitcher, rising 13U George Boksanki, then settled in and retired the side. The Angels responded by plating five runs in the bottom of the first. Rising 12U Jack Lennon’s sharp two-RBI single scored rising 11U Jack Silberhorn and Boksanski to give the Angles the lead which they would not surrender for the rest of the game.

Boksanski’s confidence and power arm yielded multiple strikeouts before turning the ball over to Lennon to start the fourth inning. Lennon’s mound presence and some nice defensive gems from Silberhorn and rising 11U, James Marshall, stifled the Rangers the rest of the way.

The Rangers played hard and had some standout performances from rising 12U players Ben Ragosa and Cisco Romero, rising 11U players Carlos Nouel, Nathan Wan, and the wonder twins, Max and Owen Richardson.

Thanks to all the teams and players for an exciting fall season!
Special thanks to the parents and coaches as well as the numerous volunteers that made the season possible!
