After a washout Wednesday, six teams were back at it tonight.  In the early game, the Dodgers continued their winning ways and upended the Orioles, 15-7.  Nitin Muniappan, Charlie Ihrig, Kaden Flummerfelt and Parker Tammaro all threw for the winners. Brendan Bock hit another triple and the Dodgers flashed some leather on the left side of the infield late in the game with Kaden Flummerfelt and Charlie Ihrig making fine plays.  Spencer Thompson, Peter Alexopoulos, Brendan Carson and Will Bolognese threw for the O’s.

The second game was tightly played until the late innings with the Red Sox Stephen McCabe and the Cardinals William Beach both mowing down opposing hitters.  McCabe would record 17 outs without giving up a hit for the Sox before Jack Silberhorn came in to close the door in the 6-0 victory.  Jovic Stachelski, Charlie Pare and Sean Boyd all contributed offensively for the Sox.  Silberhorn, Richie Masterpol and Sam Van Paassen all crossed the plate for the Sox.   Aidan Provo and Joe Kubicki relieved Beach for the Cards.

The nightcap was a rematch of 2020’s final two games between the White Sox and Diamondbacks.  The Diamondbacks jumped ahead 1-0 in the second on a double by George Boksanki who came around to score one batter later.  That one run was all that White Sox starter Noah Seitz would surrender in four innings, however, as the 12 year old right hander was magnificent in his first ever Majors start, allowing only 2 hits and striking out 7.  The Sox bats got going in the second and never looked back.  Three hit nights from Adrian Lupien and Seitz paced the Sox who also got multiple hits from Dylan Sala, Ben Ragosa and Mitchell Collins.  Leo Gannon and Dylan Sala each pitched an inning of relief.  Max Philips, Geroge Boksanski, Jack Collins and Iiyas Chakir all threw for the D’backs.

Friday will see another three Majors games at Nutile as the 2nd week of the regular season winds down… and The Nutile Snack Bar is rumored to be opening Friday night!
